Pilots of a Mi-8 helicopter flying over the alleged crash site of a Robinson helicopter in Altai Mountains have detected the helicopter’s fragments, TASS reports citing a source in the emergencies agencies.
According to the source, rescue workers are heading to the crash site in helicopters while a group of rescue workers on the ground is ready to receive them.
Rescue workers have recovered a body of one of the passengers, a source in the regional emergencies agencies said told TASS.
Russia’s Investigative Committee has launched a criminal case over the crash of a Robinson helicopter.
