Baku. Aqshin Rafiqoglu – APA-Economics. In March 2015, the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) produced 717,200 tonnes of oil, which is a 3.3% increase compared to March 2014 but an 11.7% increase compared to February 2015, according to APA-Economics.
Note that, in January 2015, SOCAR produced 712,300 tonnes of oil and in February 641,900.
Oil production during January-March 2015 stood at 2,071,400 tonnes, 1.77% up in comparison with the same period of 2014.
In March 2015, 3,722,100 tonnes of oil overall was produced in the country. That is a 2.75% increase compared to March 2014 and a 13.0% increase in comparison with February of this year.
Note that, in January 2015, a total of 3,667,600 tonnes of oil was produced in the country and 3,293,000 in February.
During January-March 2015, 10,682,700 tonnes of oil in total was produced in the country, 1.85% down compared to the first quarter of 2014.
