The ambassador said that a smear campaign is being conducted against Turkey in recent days.
“Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev is marking this historical day with us in Turkey. Relations between the presidents and people of the two states are at highest level. A smear campaign is also being conducted against our common history. Therefore, we should inform the world about our sorrows together. We're sorry for the smear campaign, but we will prove the truth through historical facts. Statements of the Turkish President and Prime Minister are example of this. We will welcome those who want to objectively study this issue. We are always ready for it,” he noted.
