A refinery in the city of Turkmenbashi has been allowed to sign a contract with the South Korean consortium consisting of LG and Hyundai, the presidential decree said.
The matter rests in the design and construction of the diesel fuel purification facilities by using hydrogen and sulfur releasing from gasoline of the delayed coking and catalytic cracking facilities, producing hydrogen. The project is expected to be implemented within 3.5 years.
The document was adopted to enhance the competitiveness of gasoline and diesel fuel on the world market. Hundai previously reported that the value of this contract is estimated at $ 940 million.
