Baku. Turbet Baghirova – APA. The newly elected president of Poland, head of the party Law and Justice Party Andrzej Duda has been sworn in on Thursday.
In his inaugural speech, Duda said Poland is need of guaranteed security and called for an increased presence of NATO forces in the country, the BBC reported.
The Law and Justice Party calls itself a national-conservative and catholic-clerical political movement.
Duda spoke had earlier called for Poland's participation in the talks on the situation in Donbass.
Note that, on May 11 the Central Election Commission of Poland announced the victory of Andrzej Duda in the presidential election. Duda narrowly surpassed his main rival, ex-President of Poland Bronislaw Komorowski.
