Baku. Aga Jafarli - APA. The reports of some mass media outlets on emergence of a problem in a ship representing the Azerbaijani Naval Forces in the international military games being held in the Caspian Sea do not accurately reflect the truth.
The press service of the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry told APA the aforesaid.
“The small problem was immediately eliminated by our military salesmen. Currently, the warships are successfully continuing their competition in the tournament in a full staff with weapons and equipment and its crew. In stark contrast to the reports, our military successfully fulfilled the tasks of today’s program of the tournament and showed excellent results destroying the marine and air targets”, said the Defense Ministry.
Russian websites have today reported that Azerbaijani team faced failure in “Caspian Cup -2015” competition held within International Army Games.
Navy ships of Russia and Azerbaijan had to take place in the opening of the competitions. But, Azerbaijani team couldn’t take place in the opening. Disorder occurred in navy ship and weapons of Azerbaijani team.
Chief judge of the competition, Major-General Dmitry Gorbatenko said that Azerbaijani team will replace the ship and demonstrate their skills on August 7.
