APA reports that press services of General Prosecutor's Office, Interior Ministry and National Security Ministry said in a joint statement that Baku resident Hamid Pashayev’s body was found with multiple stab wounds in his taxi, Nissan on the way from Badamdar settlement of Sabail district to the 20th area.
A criminal case was filed under the Article #120.1 (premeditated murder) of the Criminal Code.
The intensive investigation and operational-search operations conducted by the prosecutor's office, internal affairs and national security bodies revealed that the murder was committed by 20-year-old Parviz Abbasov, the resident of Bilasuvar’s Agayarli village.
Besides, it was revealed that Parviz Abbasov committed a robbery as well in Sabail district a few days ago.
Parviz Abbasov was in hiding in Bilasuvar. He was detained and handed over for interrogation.
Necessary operational-search and investigation are underway.
The murdered H.Pashayev was a taxi driver.
