Baku. Turbet Baghirova – APA. “It’s our destiny to live together in this region,” said Georgian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Teymuraz Sharashenidze, APA reported.
According to him, Azerbaijan produces some kind of products which cannot be delivered to European market except through Georgia.
“Your products are very valuable for Georgia. Our countries share common ambitions and have the same way of integration into the international community,” said the ambassador.
The diplomat also commented on the drawing near of a board on which the word Ossetia was written, to an area under Georgia’s control and the intersection of a portion of the Baku-Supa pipeline with the occupied territory.
“The banner can be removed or returned back. As far as I know, it has been returned back [to its primary position]. Perpetuators of this provocation seek to inhibit Georgia-Azerbaijan friendship. Hope this ill intention will end up in failure. We are working to ensure the Baku-Supsa pipeline always goes through territory under Georgia’s control,” said Sharashenidze
