Kazakh seismologists have recorded the earthquake measuring 5.1 on the territory of Kyrgyzstan, the Seismological Experimental-Methodical Expedition under the Ministry of Education of Kazakhstan said, RIA Novosti reported.
The earthquake measuring 5.1 was registered at 2:34 Almaty time (UTC/GMT +4 hours) Sept. 6.
The epicenter was in Kyrgyzstan, 242 kilometers south-west of the Kazakh city of Alma-Ata.
The epicenter depth was 15 kilometers. No tremors were felt.
