Baku – APA. Armenian armed forces have violated the ceasefire regime a total of 103 times, using 82-mm mortar launchers and large-caliber machine guns in different directions along the contact line throughout the day, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry said on Monday.
Azerbaijani army positions in the Qizilhajili village and highlands of Gazakh, and the Kohneqishlaq village of Aghstafa took fire from Armenian outposts in the uplands of Armenia’s Ijevan district, and in the Berkaber and Paravakar villages, and those in the Kemerli and Ferehli villages of Gazakh from the enemy’s outposts in the Dovekh and Shavarshavan villages of Noyemberyan. Also, Azerbaijani positions in the uplands of Gedebey were fired at shots from Armenian outposts in the highlands of Krasnoselsk.
Elsewhere along the contact line, Azerbaijani positions came under fire from the positions near the Tapgaragoyunlu, Talish, and Gulustan villages of Goranboy, Chilaburt and Qiziloba villages of Terter, Novruzlu, Kengerli, Yusifjanli, Shuraabad, Garagashli, Merzili, Javahirli, and Sarijali, and Shikhlar villages of Aghdam, Kuropatkino village of Khojavand, Ashaghi Seyidahmedli, Gorgan, Garakhanbeyli, Horadiz, Ashaghi Veysalli, and Ashagi Abdurrahmanli villages of Fuzuli, Mehdili village of Jabrayil, and in the nameless uplands of Goygol, Goranboy, Khojavand, Fuzuli and Jabrayil.
Having considered the operational conditions, the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan fired 153 shots at the enemy’s outposts, positions, and trenches.
