The head of state has expressed his deep sadness over the terrorist act in the Daglica district of Turkey’s Hakkari Province that killed and injured scores of Turkish soldiers, extending his condolences to the Turkish president and the families of the martyred soldiers. President Ilham Aliyev has stressed that this horrible terrorist act was strongly condemned in Azerbaijan, and that the people of Azerbaijan are always beside the friendly and fraternal people of Turkey.
President Erdogan in his turn thanked his Azerbaijani counterpart for the attention and condolences.
In addition, the two heads of state also exchanged views on various aspects of bilateral relations.
