The Islamic State claimed responsibility for two bombings in the suburbs of Beirut, Lebanon's capital city, according to RIA Novosti.
Two explosions occured in the southern suburbs of Beirut November 12. Two suicide bombers detonated an explosive device attached to belts. The explosions occurred at seven minute intervals. The second occurred at a time when citizens started to help the first victims. According to recent reports, 41 people died, 180 were hospitalized with various injuries.
