Baku is hosting an international conference on the prevention of domestic violence.
Co-organized by Azerbaijan`s State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs and the United Nations Population Fund, the conference is aimed at studying the UN experience in preventing domestic violence, building bilateral contacts and strengthening international relations.
Participants in the conference include a delegation led by Executive Director of the United Nations Population Fund, Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations Babatunde Osotimehin, Azerbaijani government representatives and other guests.
