Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan are seeking new mechanisms to increase the trade turnover between the two countries, Natig Aliyev, Azerbaijani Energy Minister, the co-chairman of the commission, said at a briefing following the 12th Azerbaijani-Kazakh intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation Dec. 4.
He said that the dynamics of the trade turnover between the two countries is being declined now.
"However, the potential is very high to increase the trade turnover,” he said.
“We are working on new mechanisms to enhance the economic cooperation to increase the indices."
