An earthquake measuring 4 on the Richter scale rocked the town of Mianroud in Khuzestan province on Monday morning, Irna reported.
According to Tehran University's seismological center, the quake occurred at 00:14 local time and its epicenter was at the latitude of 32.17 degrees and longitude of 48.37 degrees at the depth of 9 kilometers in a place located 8 kilometers from Mianroud, 11 kilometers from Dezab and 12 kilometers from the city of Shush in Khuzestan province.
There were no reports of the possible damages caused by the earthquake.
