A bomb alert at the Guba branch of Azerbaijan’s International Bank (IBA) has turned out to be false, the IBA told Trend.
The Bank’s regional branch is already working as usual.
“Today, the Bank received a call from an unknown person, who said that a bomb was planted in the bank’s Guba branch,” IBA told Trend, adding that the Bank’s security service informed law enforcement agencies about the bomb report.
The IBA also said that after the actions taken, the bomb report wasn’t confirmed.
The bank is currently trying to find out where the call was made from.
The International Bank of Azerbaijan was created in 1992 and is one of the major banks in the country.
