Azerbaijan has temporarily suspended the ban for sale of alcohol beverages for cash money, as well as wholesale of tobacco products, deputy tax minister of Azerbaijan Sahib Alekperov told local AzTV channel.
In December of 2015 Azerbaijan imposed restrictions on sale of tobacco products and alcohol via cash. The country's President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree on applying amendments to the Criminal Code and the Code of Administrative Offences, which stipulate a ban on the sale for cash of alcohol, as well as the wholesale of tobacco products.
