Azerbaijani MP, member of PACE observation mission Sabir Hajiyev said the parliamentary elections in Georgia are being held in a “quiet and democratic” manner. “No serious violations of law have taken place during the voting,” Hajiyev told journalists.
He also hailed voter turnout.
“Our mission is to observe the voting in villages in Marneuli district, which is densely populated by Azerbaijanis. Azerbaijanis are actively participating in the elections.”
He said the observation mission of PACE will announce its opinion about the elections on October 9.
