Chairman of Azerbaijan’s Central Election Commission (CEC) Mazahir Panahov has visited the United States for the presidential elections.
The visit took place at the invitation of President of International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES) William Bill Sweeney, media and public relations department of the CEC Secretariat.
Mr. Panahov will join events on the election, will meet the IFES President, heads of international organizations of different countries, and discuss prospects of beneficial cooperation and various issues about the elections. The CEC chairman will observe the voting process.
Panahov will also attend the Seventh Global Elections Organization (GEO-7) Conference.
The Chairman is accompanied by head of CEC Secretariat Rovzat Gasimov.
