Azerbaijani Ambassador to Spain Anar Maharramov has met with President of EFE news agency Jose Antonio Vera.
They discussed cooperation between Azerbaijan and Spain in the field of information exchange, as well as issues of promotion of Azerbaijan in the Spanish press.
The Ambassador expressed concern over the tendentious articles published by the local media against Azerbaijan, saying these posts do not describe the reality.
The Ambassador stressed the importance of the support of EFE news agency in terms of bringing the Azerbaijani realities to the Spanish people.
Anar Maharramov also spoke of the 5th News Agencies World Congress (NAWC) to be held on November 16-17 which would gather over 100 news agencies.
He noted that a document on cooperation will be signed between AZERTAC and EFE as part of the congress.
The EFE President thanked the Ambassador for visiting the news agency, and spoke of the importance of the document to be signed with AZERTAC.
