The company Alexa, which is the world’s leading analysts, has compiled a list of the 500 most visited websites in the world. In the course of the rating of popular resources of the planet, Amazon subsidiary experts estimated about 30 million sites. In order to fairly distribute the places among rating participants, analysts had to analyze indicators such as the number of views over the past three months, as well as the percentage of the daily attendance of the resource.
The leading position occupies the Google.com, while the Indian version of the site is located on the 7th place, Japan – 11 and German and British versions of Google.com are ranked the 22nd and 25th respectively. The second place of honor of the podium went to YouTube.com, and concludes the top three the social networking site Facebook. Electronical Wikipedia largest library in the race for popularity only managed to get 5th place. Meanwhile, the social network VKontakte located on Instagram.com got the 14th place in the ranking.
