Azerbaijani language schools may open in Russia, if parents take the initiative, said Russian Minister of Education and Science Olga Vasilyeva as she addressed a conference on the state and prospects of cooperation between Russia and Azerbaijan in the fields of education, science and culture in Baku. “The opening of Azerbaijani language schools depends on parents,” she added.
Azerbaijan's Education Minister Mikayil Jabbarov hailed the two countries` cooperation in the field of education. "The opening of the branches of two Russian universities in Azerbaijan and of a branch of Azerbaijan State Economic University in Derbent is indicative of the the development of our relations," he said.
