Azerbaijani boxer Magomedrasul Majidov has earned his country a gold medal of the 4th Islamic Solidarity Games as he climbed on to the highest platform of the winner`s rostrum in the +91kg division. He secured the medal thanks to a 4-1 victory over Syrian Manaf Asaad.
Jordan`s Hussein Iashaish and Morocco`s Mohammed Arjaoui had to be satisfied with bronze.
