The length of the transnational pipelines in Azerbaijan will reach 9,000 kilometres, said president of the country`s state oil company, SOCAR, Rovnag Abdullayev as he addressed a roundtable as part of ‘One Belt, One Road’ summit in Beijing.
He said that currently the total length of the transnational pipelines in Azerbaijan exceeds 5,500 kilometres.
SOCAR president described Azerbaijan as an example of how the right choice of strategy on main oil and gas pipelines can be the driving force behind economic growth.
