The visit to Azerbaijan by PACE Monitoring Committee rapporteur Pedro Agramunt has been postponed due to unforeseen circumstances, said the message on PACE’s twitter page Apr.7.
It should be noted that the visit was planned for Apr.8-9.
Last time the rapporteurs of PACE Monitoring Committee, Tadeusz Iwinski and Pedro Agramunt visited Azerbaijan on March 2-3 to discuss the situation in the country on the eve of the parliamentary election scheduled for November.
PACE is an advisory body of the Council of Europe. It holds four sessions a year and adopts resolutions and recommendations on the basis of the reports prepared by the MPs.
