"The match went well. Apollon's fans were amazing. I think it's a good result for us. We played better than Apollon. We had more goal chances than our rivals. It's a good advantage," said FC Qabala boss Roman Grigorchuk has told a press conference following his team`s 1-1 draw with Apollon Limassol of Cyprus in the first game of the UEFA Europa League qualifier.
"Apollon is a good team of course. I also appreciate the work of the referees. All teams want this referee to control their matches. We have to forget about our emotions and to do our work as professionals. I didn't watch the repeat of the penalty episode but as I`m aware of the referee's professionalism and experience I think his decision was right."
