“The application of a single tariff for the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route from June 1 is important in increasing competitiveness,” director general of Baku International Sea Trade Port Taleh Ziyadov has told journalists.
According to him, meetings between the parties on the application of the new tariff are held every two months.
“The policy of a single tariff is important. The application of a single tariff for cargos from Europe to China, and from China to Europe will demonstrate that the corridor is operating and is competitive. In the immediate future, other countries will be involved the consortium,” he added.
