Azerbaijan`s Embassy in Qatar has hosted an event marking the country`s Republic Day.
The event brought together officials of Qatar, Minister of Municipal Affairs and Environment Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Rumaihi, heads of diplomatic missions accredited in Qatar, representatives of Azerbaijani and Turkish Diaspora, businessmen.
Ambassador Tofig Abdullayev highlighted the history of Azerbaijan`s independence. He praised the relations between the two countries. The diplomat also stressed the importance of reciprocal visits in terms of deepening the bilateral ties.
The event also featured cultural concert.
