Oil production of the Turkish Petroleum Corporation (TPAO) hit a record high in January and reached the highest production averaging 110 million barrels per day (bpd).
According to TPAO, in January, the company produced 34 thousand barrels in Turkey, while 43 thousand barrels of oil abroad. This month, Turkey's TPAO’s gas production reached 775 thousand cubic meters in Turkey, while 4 million 700 thousand cubic meters abroad.
Thus, in January the company produced a total of 33 thousand barrels of oil equivalent, corresponding to 5 million 475 thousand cubic meters of gas.
The company aims to produce 190 thousand barrels per day in 2023.
TPAO’s projects in Azerbaijan take the first place in the company’s manufacturing operations abroad.
TPAO owns a 6.75% share in Azeri–Chirag–Gunashli project, a 19% share in Shah Deniz gas field and South Caucasus Pipeline projects, and a 6.53% stake in Baku–Tbilisi–Ceyhan pipeline.
