A criminal case has been launched into the death of Ilgar Aliyev, former deputy chief of the Anti-terrorist Center of Azerbaijan's Ministry of National Security.
Colonel Ilgar Aliyev committed suicide in Baku detention facility on Sunday.
The criminal case opened under article 125 of the Criminal Code, the investigation is underway.
Earlier, the Aliyev`s lawyer told Trend that the body of the deceased will be transferred to the family for burial.
