Zagatala. Vugar Heydarov – APA. A group of masked men have attacked a house in Aliabad village of Azerbaijan’s Zagatala district.
The masked men attacked the house of 86-year-old village resident Khanperi Safarova and threatened her and her husband demanding money. As they couldn’t get any money, they beat her to death, caused injury to her husband and fled the scene.
An operational group was sent to the scene immediately after the local police office received information about the incident overnight.
Measures are underway to identify and detain the assailants.
A criminal case has been launched on the fact, investigation is underway.
