The United States embassy in Azerbaijan is happy to announce the opening of its first Maker Space at the Baku American Center of Azerbaijan University of Languages on December 4, 2015.
The Maker Space is a scientific lab that provides technology, manufacturing equipment and educational opportunities to the public.
After the launch, it will open its doors to schoolchildren and science, technology, engineering and math students, as well as all interested in innovations.
The Maker Space staff will organize weekly workshops on the use of 3D printers, 3D scanners, modeling, robotics, Arduino and 3Doodler pens.
The Maker Space also plans to provide trainings to teachers and mentors on the use of equipment and technology.
The Maker Space will be co - located with Baku American Center at the Azerbaijan University of Languages.
All activities and programs of the Maker Space are free of charge and open for all.
