Iran is defending itself 1,000 kilometers beyond its borders, according to Mohammad Ali Jafari, commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC).
He made the remarks speaking to the families of a number of Iranian advisers killed in Syria, Fars agency reported Dec. 9.
“The Islamic revolution is being spread by the Islamic Republic. It owes its power to martyrs,” added Jafari.
