Baku – APA. On April 30, Azerbaijani Minister of Emergency Situations, Colonel-General Kemaleddin Heydarov received a delegation of Turkey's Ministry of Civil Defense and Armed Forces, the ministry told APA.
Minister Heydarov gave information about the works done on prevention of emergency situations and elimination of their consequences, activities of the ministry's structures. The minister said that successful cooperation in this area with the appropriate bodies of Turkey continues.
Chief of Staff of Land Forces of General Staff of the Turkish Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Ihsan Uyar stressed the high level of the cooperation between relevant bodies of Turkish army and Azerbaijani Ministry of Emergency Situations and broad prospects for bilateral relations.
The sides also exchanged views on several issues of mutual interest.
