Baku. Ramiz Mikayiloglu – APA. My father’s grave remained in occupied Jabrayil district. My mother died as a refugee and was buried in Sumgayit city. Regardless of nationality, for every person Motherland begins from the place of his/her birth. I will criticize the co-chair states as long as our occupied territories are liberated.
Deputy PM, Chairman of the State Committee for with Refugees and IDPs, Ali Hasanov made the remarks Sunday at a meeting with the co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group - Ambassadors Igor Popov of Russia, James Warlick of the United States, and Pierre Andrieu of France.
Russian co-chair Igor Popov said during the visit there was a good opportunity to meet with IDPs.
“The presidents of Russia, France and the United States stressed that IDPs should return to their native lands,” he added.
US co-chair James Warlick thanked the Azerbaijani government for good conditions created for IDPs, expressing hope for the soonest return of IDPs to their native lands.
The French co-chair in turn shared his impressions of the meeting with the IDPs.
Hasanov noted that Kocharyan-Sargsyan regime in Armenia impedes a peaceful resolution to the conflict, because they came to power as a result of this problem.
“Both Azerbaijani and Armenian peoples are tired of this conflict. Armenians, who left Azerbaijan, too, are waiting for the settlement of the conflict,” the deputy PM added.
