“Central Banks of both countries offered us to make a choice"
Baku. Yegane Lachinzade - APA-Economics. "Due to the Nagorno Karabaklh conflict we had to make a choice between Azerbaijani and Armenian markets, and we chose Azerbaijan", Chief Executive Officer and President of the Western Union Company Hikmet Ersek told Vedomosti newspaper.
“Central Banks of both countries offered us to make a choice: we had to operate in one of these countries. Of course, I’d like to operate in Armenia too, but we must adapt to this situation. If Armenia agrees, we’ll start to build a business from tomorrow”, Ersek said.
