Two people were struck by lightning in Iran's western Lorestan province on May 11.
The lightning hit a shepherded near the city of Aligudarz last night, Reza Ariaei, an official in the governor's office of Lorestan province said, Iran’s official IRIB news agency reported May 12.
A 23-years old farmer also was killed by a lightning strike near the city of Poldokhtar, he added.
Every year several people die in the province in similar incidents.
