“Of course Topalov would be more comfortable in Los Angeles or Baku as opposed to Moscow, and they will discuss his participation,” manager of Bulgarian chess grandmaster Veselin Topalov, Silvia Danilov, said commenting on the FIDE Candidates Tournament will be held in Moscow involving eight grandmasters, including Topalov.
The tournament will take place from March 10-30, 2016.
The Candidates Tournament is a chess tournament organized by FIDE since 1950, as the final contest to determine the challenger for the World Chess Championship. The winner of the Candidates earns the right to a match for the World Championship against the incumbent World Champion.
