Social protection and medical - social rehabilitation of children with disabilities, preventing children from falling into state-run institution for children, ensuring their and their families access to social services is one of the main goals of the social policy carried out in Azerbaijan, said Minister of labour and social protection of population Salim Muslumov as he met the head of the UN Children's Fund (UNICEF) office in the country Edward Karvardin.
The works done within the framework of the Cooperation Program for 2016-2020 between the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population and UNICEF and future directions of action were discussed during the meeting.
