Chairman of the Caucasian Muslim Board Sheikh-ul-Islam Allahashukur Pashazade has met former Prime Minister of Jordan, chairman of the Islamic World Academy of Sciences Abdelsalam al-Majali.
Mr. Pashazade highlighted historically existing cultural, spiritual relations between Azerbaijan and Jordan.
Abdelsalam al-Majali stressed the importance of tolerance and multicultural traditions of both countries. The Former Prime Minister highlighted his previous visits to Azerbaijan, saying both countries` friendship and fraternity have particular importance in deepening bonds.
Azerbaijan`s Ambassador to Jordan Sabir Agabayov was also present at the meeting.
