"The Paris Agreement on climate change which was also signed by the government of Azerbaijan will be ratified by the country's Parliament and come into force on October 28 current year," said Deputy Speaker of Azerbaijan`s Parliament, chairman of the committee on natural resources, energy and environment Valeh Alasgarov as he addressed the 7th International Forum on Energy for Sustainable Development held in Baku.
"I am confident that the countries which signed the agreement and joined this initiative will ensure the enactment of it and implement relevant measures in their energy and economic policies in line with the purpose of the document," Alasgarov added.
