A Russian nuclear submarine has caught fire in a shipyard in Russia's northern province of Arkhangelsk, APA reports quoting RIA news agency.
The Zvyozdochka shipyard said it was not ready to comment on the report. There was no word of any casualties.
According to The Moscow Times, on this day in 1989, Soviet submarine K-278 Komsomolets sank, killing 42 sailors. It still lies at the bottom of the Barents Sea, including its nuclear warheads.
