Baku is a very good place for holding European Games, Estonian archer Gross Jaanus told Trend June 16.
He said that he watched the opening ceremony of the European Games from TV because he was in Estonia that day, but he liked what he saw.
Jaanus participated in the Ranking Round of Men's individual Archery on June 16, and praised the conditions created there.
He said he wanted to show his best result at the competitions and added he was very glad to do it.
He then said that it was his first time in Baku and he didn't have time to travel yet. Jaanus said he already visited the Athletes Village in Baku, and added he will definitely go into the city.
The European Games that kicked off in Baku June 12, will last till June 28. There is a total of 20 sports at Baku 2015: 16 Olympic sports and four non-Olympic sports.
More than 6,000 athletes from across Europe will be representing their nations over 17 days of competition.
Baku was awarded the games by the European Olympic Committees (EOC) in December 2012.
