Azerbaijan is an ideal country for the United Kingdom in terms of cooperation, Lord Mayor of London Alan Yarrow has told AZERTAC`s special correspondent.
Mr. Yarrow described Azerbaijan as an important trade partner of UK, saying the two counties enjoy excellent business relations. He said there were a lot of British companies keen to build business ties with Azerbaijan.
Mr. Yarrow said he would visit Azerbaijan on May 31-June 2 and hold a number of important meetings to discuss a variety of issues, including Azerbaijan`s integration into the global market.
The Lord Mayor underlined that UK was interested in strengthening partnership with Azerbaijan.
He said he would attend the 22nd Caspian Oil & Gas Azerbaijan 2015 exhibition and conference, where he would read out a congratulatory message of Prime Minister David Cameron.
