Baku – APA. Azerbaijani athlete Yashar Aliyev (57kg) has defeated his Armenian opponent Garik Barsekyan in a 10-6 win in the 1/4 finals of the free-style wrestling competitions among men as part of the first European Games in Baku on Wednesday, according to Apasport.
Note that, Yashar Aliyev, who had joined the competition in the 1/8 finals, defeated his French opponent Zoheir El-Ouarraqe with a score of 9-4.
