Baku – APA. Wrestler Haji Aliyev, representing Azerbaijan in the 61kg weight category, has defeated his Armenian opponent Valodia Frangulyan in a splendid 7-0 win in the 1/8 finals of the wrestling competition as part of the first European Games in Baku, APAsport reported.
Haji Aliyev is the brother of Yashar Aliyev who took the 5th place and defeated Armenian Garik Barsekyan in the 1/4 finals
Note that, freestyle wrestling competitions at the Baku-2015 first-ever European Games is coming to a close today.
With two gold medals and one bronze from the first day, Azerbaijani wrestlers will compete in all weight categories.
