By a decision of Uzbekistan’s President Islam Karimov, the acting minister for culture and sports affairs, Bahodir Ahmadov, was promoted to the post of the minister.
Bahodir Ahmadov has served as the acting minister since November 2014.
Earlier, he was the deputy minister and the director general of the Uzbeknavo Variety Art Association.
