Baku – APA. Azerbaijani boxer Albert Salimov (60kg) has taken the gold medal after defeating his relatively less experienced opponent Sofian Ouminaia (France), according to apasport.az.
In a successful series of encounters, Salimov became a champion with a score of 3:0 (29:28; 30;27; 29;28).
With this win, the Azerbaijani boxing team secured the 4th gold medal, which is the 19th on the national selection’s balance.
