All the necessary measures are being taken to treat the SOCAR staff affected by the fire on the platform #10 of the Gunashli offshore field, Azerbaijani Healthcare Ministry told Trend Dec. 6.
“A total of 31 people were admitted to the Central Oil Workers Hospital,” said the press office of the Healthcare Ministry, adding that 22 of them underwent outpatient treatment and were sent home.
“On Monday, they will be re-examined. Eight people remain in the inpatient treatment at the Central Oil Workers Hospital with various diagnoses, mostly fractures,” said the ministry’s press service, noting that one person was transferred to the burn treatment center.
Reportedly, the country’s healthcare minister, Ogtay Shiraliyev has visited those affected and inquired about the quality of the aid provided.
