Azerbaijan invested $282.5 million in the economy of Georgia in the first six months of this year, said Georgian Deputy Foreign Minister Gigi Gigiadze.
According to him, Azerbaijan invested $550 million in Georgia`s economy in 2015, a 61 per cent growth against 2014.
SOCAR, the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan, is the biggest investor in Georgia where it owns 114 filling stations and an oil terminal in Kulevi port.
